Richard Klein

MScPT, B.Sc, CSCS

Physiotherapist

Originally born and raised in Prince George, Richard moved to the United States in 2009 to pursue a collegiate soccer scholarship at Baker University, Kansas. During his collegiate career, Richard experienced many sports injuries from which grew a strong passion for the rehabilitation sciences and an empathy for those suffering from pain and injury. In 2013, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science with Magna Cum Laude honors.

After his undergraduate degree, Richard pursued multiple specialized certifications in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning (ACSM-CEP, CSCS) before moving to Edmonton to attend the physiotherapy program at the UofA. In 2017, he graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy and was hired on by The Bridge Advanced Sports Therapy and Training where he worked for 3 years as a Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Richard is excited to be back in his home town and to share his knowledge and experience in rehabilitation and sports science with the community he grew up in. “My goal as a physical therapist is to bridge the worlds of rehabilitation and performance so that my patients not only return to their pre-injury status, but exceed it.”
