Registered Acupuncturist/Registered Nutritionist

Dana attended the University of Ottawa where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Honours in Human Kinetics. Upon graduation, she moved to North Vancouver in search of milder winters for running and mountains for hiking! While working in the foodservice industry she became quite passionate about cooking and nutrition and decided to pursue more training in the field of Holistic Nutrition. As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist Dana has worked as a private chef, with athletes helping to optimize their athletic performance, with clients working on improving their digestion and managing allergies. Dana has also worked with Naturopathic Doctors to help build an alternative meal plans for complex case-patients.

After working in her field for a couple of years, Dana decided to pursue her dream of one day becoming a Registered Acupuncturist. She chose to study Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at The Pacific College of Holistic Medicine in Vancouver. During her schooling, Dana gave birth to her son and finished her last classes when he was two
weeks old! Two weeks later Dana and her family relocated to Northern BC to be closer to her husband’s family. Prince George has been her home now for over a year and she cannot wait to explore the many lakes, as well as meet more people in this already incredibly welcoming community.

As an Acupuncturist, Dana has clinical experience helping her patients manage their mental health- be it through treatments for anxiety, depression, insomnia or stress. She has also worked with patients experiencing different facets of pain such as headaches or managing acute and chronic injuries. In addition, Dana is passionate about sharing the power of Acupuncture for women’s health, fertility support, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
