Dr Andrea Petersen
Dr. Petersen began seeing a chiropractor at the age of 15 when she was a member of the Canadian Junior National Luge Team. She found relief from her injuries as well as improvement in her posture and sport performance following chiropractic treatment. This was her inspiration for pursuing a career in chiropractic.
Dr Petersen went on to study biological science at the University of Calgary, followed by the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has a keen interest in athletics, geriatric and family wellness-based care and specializes in manual adjusting in conjunction with Activator Method technique (a gentle non-force technique to improve joint function and decrease pain). She is well versed in soft tissue therapy techniques and providing exercise programs for rehabilitation. Dr Petersen's mission is to help improve people's health and wellness through chiropractic care and advice.
